Change Leadership Network Code of Conduct

The Change Leadership Network is committed to being a community for professionals in a variety of positions and organizations. We strive to have an open exchange of ideas that include examples from different perspectives. In order to build a community of friends and resources we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines.

If you notice anything in violation of these guidelines or that is otherwise troublesome, please report the issue. The Change Leadership Network administrators will remove content in violation of this Code as quickly as possible.

  1. Keep it positive. If an idea didn’t work at your organization by all means share your experience but avoid negative, condescending comments. We’d love to hear what does work for you.
  2. Give credit where credit is due. Please don’t post materials without attribution that are copyrighted by anyone but you.
  3. Don’t Spam. We define spam as soliciting, marketing, recruiting, and mass messaging for your own benefit.
  4. Opinions are fine, personal attacks are not and will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to abusive language, threats, name-calling, insults, and harassment.
  5. No solicitations.
  6. Be smart about your privacy. This is an open network and CLN is not vetting participants. We highly caution you against sharing your personal information like home address, telephone number, or anything that may make your location easily accessible by others. We are not responsible for any damage incurred as a result of sharing personal information.
  7. No advertising. We’d love to hear about other resources you or your organization find useful but please refrain from advertising your business or service.
  8. Change Leadership Network is a professional network and should be safe for work. Please do not post comments or resources that are not appropriate for a work environment. Vulgar or obscene language will not be tolerated.
  9. We reserve the right to remove any comments that are in violation of these guidelines and to update this Code of Conduct in light of experience.
